Summary

Data collection of simulation systems is very important for debugging, evaluation, replay and analysis. For large-scale simulation systems, single data logger cannot meet the requirement of fully collecting simulation data. In the paper, a distributed data collection solution for HLA-based simulations was presented, including collection preparation, runtime scheduling and post processing. The key techniques in the solution were discussed in details, such as collection task assignment principle, runtime scheduling method, load measurement and data collation method. In the end, experiments were performed to test the solution, and the recommendation on the future direction is put forward.
