The 2010 Summer Computer Simulation Conference (SCSC 10)
Ottawa, Canada, July 11-14, 2010
This paper analyze the state of art in X3D Authorizing Tools, comparing the main tools (Collada and X3D-Edit). The contribution was the analysis of X3D-Edit from Navy Postgraduate School (NPS), explaining the components such as XMSF (Extensible Modeling and Simulation Framework) that supports distributed modeling and simulation applications; and new techniques of XSLT Stylesheet code to convert one X3D scene in VRML/HTML to publish on Web3D. The main goals were the case study of one scene 3D using the Savage (Scenario Authoring and Visualization for Advanced Graphical Environments) to describe the characteristics of components 3D and XSL transformation. Additional, we demonstrated how to use and interact with backgrounds, from Universal Media Panoramas into scene 3D.
